Men Building Relationships is a 16 week program supported by The SAFE Project for Coos County. This program provides men with information on how to build healthy relationships in their life with significant others, children, friends, co-workers and others. Some of the subjects that will be covered in a group setting will be: Active Listening, Improving Communications Skills, How to Argue Fairly, How a Time Out works, Creating a Win-Win Situation, Definitions of Abusive Behavior, Feeling Words, Using “I” Statements, Power and Control Wheels, Equality Wheels, and the Cycles of Abuse and Empowerment. Men’s Building Relationships provides an accountable and supportive setting for men to better understand ways of relating with their families, spouses, children, and friends.
All classes are held at Southwestern Oregon Community College in Coos Bay in the Stensland Building Room 203 on Thursdays from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm.
Registration and Costs
Registration for Men Building Relationships is by appointment only. A fee of $50.00 is due at the appointment time. This cost covers registration, a workbook and class materials. A fee of $15.00 per class is due at the beginning of each class.
